Soup.video uses a centralized Credit Wallet for both dashboard and API usage. 1 Credit is equivalent to $0.01 USD.

Cost Calculation

Different models have different pricing structures:

  1. Flat Pricing: Models like Qwen Image charge a flat rate (e.g. 5 credits / $0.05).
  2. Matrix Pricing: Models like Veo 3.1 charge based on the resolution and quality mode (e.g. A 1080p quality clip costs more than a 720p lite clip).
  3. Per-Second Pricing: Models like Kling 3.0, PixVerse V6, and Seedance 2.0 charge a per-second rate depending on quality, audio, and other inputs.

Use the /api/models endpoint to query base costs.

Insufficient Funds

If your wallet balance drops below the required cost of an API call, you will receive a 402 Payment Required HTTP response:

You can set up Auto-Top-Up in the Billing Dashboard to ensure your API integrations never fail due to an empty wallet.
