1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide a seamless creative experience. This includes account details (email, handle, profile picture), transaction history via our payment processor (Creem), and metadata regarding the AI assets you generate.
When you use the Soup AI Director Agent, we also collect the brief and messages you send, files you attach, scripts and Production Boards the Director prepares, generation jobs, and related safety logs. That material is required to direct, authorize, and produce your film.
2. Third-Party AI Processing
To generate your content, prompts, Director-compiled production instructions, and reference images are securely transmitted to our third-party AI model partners via API. We do not use your private images to train proprietary models without your explicit consent, and our partners are bound by strict data processing agreements.
3. Cookie Policy
We use essential cookies to maintain your logged-in session, keep the Director Agent thread available, secure our payment flows, and ensure the website functions correctly. We may also use analytical cookies to understand traffic patterns and improve the platform. You can control or delete non-essential cookies via your browser settings at any time.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is used to power the AI generation process, run the Director, manage your account balance, enforce safety and IP policy, and showcase public creations. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact our support team.
We may retain limited Director logs, complaints, and safety records as needed to investigate abuse, copyright claims, or legal obligations even after an asset is removed.
5. Director Agent, Uploads & Public Content
- Your brief is yours; direction is Soup’s: We process your intent so the Director can produce a Board and run generation. Soup’s prompts, recipes, and agent methods remain Soup’s intellectual property.
- Uploads: Reference images, videos, and documents you attach may contain personal data or third-party content. You are responsible for having the right to upload them. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use.
- Public feed: Assets you mark public may appear on soup.video. Other users must not scrape or duplicate them. See our Terms.
6. Privacy Complaints
Privacy, data-use, or unauthorized-processing complaints should be sent to hello@soup.video with evidence (URLs, screenshots, account handle, and a description of the issue). We aim to respond within 3 business days.
For any privacy-related inquiries or data deletion requests, please contact our Data Protection Officer at hello@soup.video.
