Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 2026 • Keeping the Kitchen Clean & Compliant

1. Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance)

To maintain a safe environment and comply with our payment and infrastructure partners, the following content is strictly prohibited on Soup.video — including in the Soup AI Director Agent. Generating or attempting to generate this content will result in immediate account termination without a refund:

  • NSFW & Sexually Explicit Content: Sexually-oriented or pornographic content of any kind. This includes nude, semi-nude, or sexually suggestive material (e.g., suggestive poses, undressing).
  • Face Manipulation: Face-swap, deepfake, and non-consensual face-manipulation generation tools or outputs.
  • Harmful Content: Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or realistic depictions of violence, gore, and self-harm.
  • Illegal Acts & Regulated Goods: Content promoting illegal activities, copyright infringement, or age-restricted/regulated products (drugs, weapons, gambling, etc.).

2. Content Safety & Moderation

We actively enforce these guidelines to ensure platform safety:

  • Automated Filters: Soup.video utilizes robust automated NSFW and safety content filters to prevent the creation of prohibited content.
  • Active Monitoring: We conduct ongoing compliance monitoring. Attempting to bypass safety filters with deceptive prompts or Director briefs will result in immediate suspension of your generation capabilities.
  • Creator Responsibility: You are fully responsible for the briefs and prompts you submit, files you attach, and the content your account generates — including films the Director directs from your intent.

3. What We Encourage

We encourage creative exploration, cinematic storytelling, and original direction. High-quality, original AI vision is what makes Soup.video great. Push the boundaries of the medium, but keep it safe and respectful. Do not treat Soup as a machine for copying someone else’s film.

4. Soup AI Director Agent

The Director owns craft (story, shots, pacing, sound). You own the idea and the legal risk of that idea. In addition to the rules above:

  • Do not ask the Director to reproduce copyrighted characters, franchises, music, brands, or celebrity likeness. The Director may refuse, analogue, or block generation. That is not permission to try again with a workaround.
  • Do not upload references you do not have the right to use, or another creator’s Soup output as if it were yours.
  • Do not extract, scrape, or republish Director prompts, recipes, Production Boards, or agent traces.
  • Do not duplicate or mass-download the public feed for republishing or model training.

5. Brand, Copyright & Duplication

Soup’s name, logos, and “AI Director” product identity are protected. Third-party copyrights and trademarks remain with their owners. Copying, impersonation, and unauthorized brand use are prohibited. Formal copyright process is on the DMCA / Copyright page.

6. Complaints (With Evidence)

Report prohibited content, copyright, brand, impersonation, or duplication to hello@soup.video. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Include evidence:

  • URLs on soup.video and timestamps if known.
  • Screenshots or files of the material.
  • Account handle involved, if you know it.
  • For copyright or brand: proof of your rights in the original work or mark.
  • A short description of the harm or violation.

We may remove content, halt a Director run, suspend an account, or decline if evidence is insufficient. False reports may themselves violate the Terms.

If you have questions about whether a specific use-case is allowed, please contact us at hello@soup.video before generating.
